Alphonsa Stephen, M.D.,F.A.A.P.,P.C.
Board Certified: Board Certified in General Pediatrics.
While doing her internship Dr.Stephen’s interest in Pediatrics increased and developed into a desire to delve deeper into this field. Dr.Stephen’s pediatric training was at University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas. She is a board certified pediatrician and practicing pediatrics over 10 years in Las Vegas.
She started her own practice in July 2006. She has admitting privileges in Southern Hills Hospital, Spring Valley Hospital, Summerlin Hospital, Sunrise Children’s Hospital and all three St. Rose Hospitals (De Lima, Sienna, and San Martin). After medical school, she spent a lot of her time volunteering
at the University Medical Center and the American Red Cross. She is a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics as well as a member of Nevada Chapter of AAP.
Dr. Stephen is a Nevada resident for 12 years and has served as the vice chair
of pediatrics at St Rose Dominican Hospitals in 2004.
She always felt that the role of a pediatrician would be challenging and fulfilling. In her leisure time she enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and traveling. Dr. Stephen is married and has 2 children. Dr. Stephen is proud of her personalized approach in caring for your child.
